Help With Mental Health Issues

At Kate Meads Associates we work with people who present with a variety of mental health issues including:-

We are also able to offer Mental Health First Aid Training to give people a better understanding of common mental health issues.

Our highly qualified team of consultants work with people of all ages in any environment, utilising an extensive range of skills and approaches to facilitate the move towards person-centred recovery.

They are highly trained in mindfulness, interpersonal therapy, learning theory and pain management as well as other areas of mental illness and can work in conjunction with other health professionals or as a stand alone treatment.

One of the most destabilising consequences of mental health issues can often be the loss of everyday structure. That is why our work often focuses on the reintroduction of routine, be it at home or in the workplace – with regular everyday activities comes a sense of purpose.

We use evidence based practices to establish and implement realistic, achievable and sustainable goals ensuring that a solution and positive outcome is reached.

The ILO and WHO are committed to equal treatment and employment for workers with disabilities, key principles that Kate Meads Associates apply in all aspects of their service provision to stakeholders.

Client Testimonial

"I had the good fortune to be allocated Kate as my occupational therapist having suffered severe psychotic depression. From the outset I was very impressed with her very professional, empathic and pragmatic approach. Within a short period of time she had agreed with me a strategy and practical steps to help both better understand and assist in overcoming the illness. Extremely able, with exceptional interpersonal skills and very inspirational I would highly recommend Kate and her team as true mental health experts." - VP
