Our highly qualified team of specialist clinicians assist adults experiencing mild to severe mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD and more.

In collaboration with employers, we maximise employees’ function and productivity to enable them to return to work following illness, accident, injury or ill mental health.

Who We Are

Kate Meads

CEO, Founder & OT

Kate is the founder of KMA and a leading expert in the world of occupational therapy. She is a recognised thought-leader in the assessment, analysis and treatment of occupational function and performance. Kate was appointed a Director of the International Disability Management Standards Council Board in 2016.

Shelley Cooper
BSc (OT) Hons, CDMP

Clinical Operations Manager & OT

Shelley facilitates and coordinates the partnerships between all our case stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class service. Shelley is also responsible for the development and coordination of referrals and contracts, service development, one-to-one specialist assessments and occupational therapy treatment plans.

Sarah Morris

Office Manager

Sarah is our Referrals Co-ordinator and is here to help the team focus fully on clients’ needs. She is responsible for all initial enquiries to KMA, co-ordinates referrals through to completion and drives communication between all stakeholders. Sarah is also responsible for overseeing all aspects of ongoing intervention and works closely with case managers, solicitors and insurance companies.

Kathryn Barton

Clinical Support

Kathryn plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the consultancy. She is responsible for facilitating executive level clinical support and bridging communication between our clients, stakeholders, referrers and within the KMA team, Having trained and worked extensively as an occupational therapist herself, she champions a collaborative environment where a client is at the heart of every decision. Kathryn ensures that KMA delivers evidence based, outcome-oriented and personalised interventions that prioritise clients’ needs and goals. Kathryn is the Autism Ambassador for KMA, advocating for inclusive practices and support.

Here at KMA, our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our clients using the most up to date evidenced based practices. We work with people with or without a clinical diagnosis to overcome barriers and achieve goals.
